TU10: Gupples Ladydeath

Build Information

  • Author: Gupples
  • Title update: 10
  • Specialisation: Gunner
  • PvE

This build focuses heavily around building as much of a momentum as you can, the two talents which are essential for this are Obliterate and Unstoppable Force, the reason I chose these is that there are no debuffs for using them unlike glass cannon for example while providing you with a large damage bonus.

About the build

Lady Death, Coyotes mask, 1x Sokolov Concern, 1x Grupo Sombra S.A. and 1x Providence Defense.

The 2 remaining slots can be either Sokolov Concern or Providence Defense as they have the same brand bonuses, your secondary weapon should be something accurate for taking out snipers you can’t reach, I prefer the Railsplitter assault rifle as it has pinpoint accuracy and a high fire rate.

Lady Death: when moving, gain 4 stacks per second, or 8 stacks if sprinting, up to 32 stacks in total. Each round consumes a stack, amplifying damage by 75%. Kills grant +20% movement speed for 10s.

You will have Crit damage and headshot damage on all pieces, on either your backpack or chest you will take off headshot damage and replace it with Crit chance so you can hit the 60% cap, All your mods will be for Crit damage.

Obliterate: Critical hits increase total weapon damage by 1% for 5s, up to a cap of 15%.
Unstoppable Force: Killing an enemy increases weapon damage by 5% for 15s, up to a cap of 25%.

Alternatively you can use glass cannon on your chest but it would lower your chances of survival when face tanking groups of npc’s.

Glass Cannon: All damage you deal is amplified by 25%, all damage you take is amplified by 50%.

The reason for using the Gunner specialization is because of these 4 talents.

Coupler: Every third reload is 50% faster.
Incessant: Killing enemies grants 10% armour.
Barrage: Rate of fire is increased by 5% on kill for 5s.
Supply Line: Generate 10% of total ammo capacity every 60s.

Your first skill will be the Crusader Ballistic Shield as it will allow you to use your lady death and provide you with a bit more armour briefly, a side bonus from this is also you can equip the Liquid metal Microdroplets mod onto it, which will give you a damage bonus depending on the amount of enemies in front of you.

Your second skill wont really mater as you would be wasting time deploying skills, I’d suggest a revive hive just if you go down.

How to use the build

The most effective way to use this build is to be constantly moving to generate stacks for the lady death, getting in close and using the shield when you need a bit more of a armour boost to face tank npc’s. Should you need to get into cover if your shield breaks, it’s best you shuffle left and right as that will still allow you to build lady death stacks in cover.

You will always try to aim for headshots when possible, and hitting weakpoints as well depending on the faction you are fighting picking off snipers with your secondary.

Below you will see my current stats for this build, bare in mind I am missing 20% headshot damage from keeners watch and just minor roll increases on each item. These are the stats you will roughly have once the build is complete.

guffje / TU9.1: Hard Wired Seeker Build

Build information

  • Author: guffje
  • Title update: 9.1
  • Specialisation: Demolitionist
  • PvE – Endgame content (heroics/legendary)

About the build:

  • 4x hard wired (including backpack)
  • 1 China light, 1 wyvern. One of these must be chest with glass cannon

This build was created to utilise the hardwired short cooldown times, and damage buffs. For this build to work effectively, you will need to use the Hard Wired backpack with 3 other hardwired pieces (not the chest.) As seen in the screenshot above, “Short Circuit” decreases the feedback loop from 20s to 10s, which means spamming seekers every 10seconds.

The build in question has 1 piece Wyvern (10% skill damage), and 1 piece China Light (15% explosive damage) with Glass Cannon (skill damage and weapon damage amplified by 25%). Other variations can be used.

The build is 6x yellow main attributes, with all hard wired attributes being recalibrated for max skill damage. Ideally you want max skill damage on the 2 high end gear, with max status effects.

Sweet dreams is a must as you can melee red/purple npc’s once every 15seconds. You can also use spike on your primary weapon as it increases skill damage when you land a headshot.

How to use the build:

The most effective way to use this build is to stay in cover, and throw seekers. Once the seekers are on cooldown, and feedback loop procs, drop your hive to refresh seekers and deploy them. Pick the hive back up and repeat. If enemies get to close, drop the hive and potentially melee red or purple npc’s – alternatively it may give you time to retreat if required.

Ermi46: DPS Build

Author: Ermi46

  • 3 dmg-based named items: Pristine Example (perfect focus), Contractor’s Glove (dta), Fox’s Prayer (ooc)
  • Vigilance talent (perf vigilance just reduce the cooldown with 1s, so I don’t think its necessary)
  • Classic M1A with scope for perfect focus talent (this talent gives you the biggest multiplicative dmg (60%), and theres no disadvantage)
  • The other 3 item’s brand should give chc/chd (Providence, Grupo)
  • If possible max out the wd% and have as much chc/chd as possible (hs can work too) (for me: chc/chd/hs = 48%/153,1%/172,4%)
  • Sharpshooter spec for stability, hsd%, Digital Scope

Tips

  • Hold/push the left trigger as often as possible. If you reload and still hold the aim the buff won’t lose. If you get back to cover, and then aim in 1s, then you won’t lose the buff. Thats why I use shield, so I won’t lose the stack and vigilance when npcs shoot me)
  • Sometimes slower headshots worth it.
  • (“It’s easy: aim and pull the fucking trigger!” – Dolores Jones)
  • If someone uses Coyote’s Mask in the group, then ~50% chc is more than enough.

Variations

LMG: Same weapons, but with Obliterate talent, and Gunner spec. (with fast hands and Gunner reload talent you wont lose the stack)
Against health-based enemies: The Hollow Man, Providence gloves.
